Fluttershy is my favorite pony.

I usually get on board with shipping but in this case I can't really see it. Discord seems more desperate for companionship than someone with serious romantic potential while Fluttershy wants him to stop worrying about her opinion of him and just to be a good friend.

If he started seeing things Fluttershy's way then I'd agree there is shipping potential but I think Discord has to get over his own mental hurdles first.

We do exist and I dont think shitposting or even what happens on the show would stop us loving Fluttershy and I got to admit I love her as a character on the show but the real Fluttershy I love isnt the same one as in these episodes on the show. What comes to Fluttercord, I fully acknowledge they are close friends but it is rather one-sided as Discord's life revolves greatly around Fluttershy while Fluttershy has more friends and her own passions which she doesnt share with Discord. They are clearly good friends and I dont consider them to have love relationship until they are portrayed in same manner as Big Mac and Sugar Belle.

Also these Discord episodes are made to show how he progresses to become a better friend and use his magic for good. I do, but you are saying they are lovers already and as far as I have understood they are friends and why change that dynamic since love would tie Fluttershy to Discord so much that their character developments would come to dead end. What would there be left to makes episodes of since they would be "happily married". You know there is a reason why shipping exists outside of canon of the show and why show such as MLP:FiM wouldnt want to portray real love relationship about one of the main characters. Keeping shipping as fandom thing is the best for everyone really.
