I don't know about you autists, but I'm loving it. The only episode I didn't enjoy was the Buttershush one.

A lot of the episodes have been really good. Like, REALLY good.

I'm liking it so far. Except for AJ's character assassination in Honest Apple, Pinkie's unbearable stupidity in Rock Solid Friendship, or the entirety of A Royal Problem, which was my least favorite episode so far, everything else has been pretty nice.

same. I didn't hate the Fluttershy ep but it was pretty boring and predictable. It was like Cart before the ponies minus a song and Cherilee's outfit.

Much better than season 6.
I was kinda sad that the two sisters episode was a Glimmer episode but it was still pretty good, yet had many holes in the plot.

Good, but you can really feel they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for episode ideas. Personally S7 feels like I'm watching well made fanfic desu.

It'll probably be the last season I'll be watching since mane 6 and alicorn sisters or even CMC don't have anymore stories to tell and I just really don't care about Glimmer and friends, they are not interesting to watch imo.

Same, but my sour note was the Sweetie episode. Fluttershy episode felt like a satisfying display of how she's developed as a character to this point, but I know a lot of Anons dislike that one for good reasons.

Surprised I'm the only one here who hates the new season. Me and my friend watched all seasons together, and we are almost about to drop out in season 7... We always grab our phones while watching the episodes, because we are just so bored out at almost every single episode. The only episodes I liked were episode 1 (a little), 4 and 10. The only episode my friend liked was episode 10.

Even the hyped up episode 7 was bad to us, I mean, it portrayed rainbow dash as the one who fucked everything up, while it's obviously the parent's fault, god the parents were annoying... The humor doesn't click as much as it used to do either, we merely grin occasionally but that's about it. The only times we laughed were at the "I didn't know I was an expression" and also the door sound joke, but thinking back at the old episodes, we had a good time at every single one of them, except for 2 or 3 episodes.

The characters just aren't the ones we used to love. It's all different, and for us not in a good way. I'm glad many here can still enjoy the show, but we can't. There were so many episodes in every single season except the first one which I could rewatch and rewatch and never get bored. Now I can't even watch an episode the first time without getting bored.

There's always hope for the 2nd half, though.

This. I think S7 is so far the best the show has been since S4, but it's not the same show as S1-3 at all. This season feels less cobbled together than S4-6 in terms of theme, but that theme is nothing like that of the first seasons.

Not the same guy but for me mane 6 each have changed in,
Twilight and Applejack: getting more and more retarded every season.
Fluttershy: forgot she used to be the element of kindness.
Rainbow Dash and Rarity: personality is unstable in both good ways and bad ways.
Pinkie Pie: is thinking too much about making other characters happy that sometimes I feel like she's not happy doing that.
The show became too focused on trying to give deeper development to characters through episodes that it's actually backfiring. The characters actually look more childish and shallower than earlier seasons.

It's been okay, good at best. It has it's moments, but the main 6 have clearly been relegated to the background. It's all been Glimmer and CMC episodes, and the episodes that do involve a main 6 character usually involves them with side characters

I have mixed feelings. Even in Applejack's Day Off I thought the mistakes she made was mirrored by others before: Twilight's late letter; Rainbow destroying a weather factory. The apple/strawberry was pretty bad in the latest episode but AJ was herself was on point for most of the episode. I think the Applejack problem goes further back in that the writers focus on the wrong things like "muh strength gags" while not the right ones (expanding her business). Applejack like Rainbow Dash is more suited for action/adventure structured episodes but the writers bog her down in pure slice of life without expanding AJ's character to add new elements.

Rarity: I agree. Rarity has become a lot more like Pinkie and the gag jokes around her more random. The Pinkie/Maud/Rarity episode is where it kicked off I think. And a lot of it doesn't match her. The heavy guitar thing in Honesty Apple was interesting but too out of left field. And real how is Rarity expanding like crazy in her business but she's still around in ponyville all the time?
