So what's the actual appeal of this series to you people beyond sex stuff and a few exclusive waifus? The plot of each them are pretty much the same. The humane 5 are shallow versions of their pone selves and even less important in major events. The 2 specials that actually broke from the formula were shit and could've just easily been in the actual show.

I'm not actually, I thought the first one was okay and second was actually pretty good. I continued to watch it because I really liked to Sunset develop, but it went on I realized they didn't really care about that, as evidenced by what they cut out. Sci-Twi servers no purpose and the plot for all of them got pretty redundant. I just can't find a real reason to keep watching just to get disappointed every time. It's basically like the Aliens franchise, the first 2 were pretty good but they just go to shit from then on.

Anyone know where I can watch the new Shimmer/Glimmer special? The Daily Motion video is down.

yes, the MH ripoff is very generic and rushed as fuck to make a quick buck, but when it turned out that people liked it, they made more
they are slowly making it be it's own thing
especially with it no longer sharing the same mlp logo and with the short's intro
Sunset is my waifu and she is a great character with a good arc going for her
I would have fallen for her even if she had premiered in FiM
the EqG only characters are what keeps it interesting and now that they're going away from even their pony up forms (or at least it seems that way) along with magic acting differently in that world and creating magical objects, they are working hard to make it enjoyable

I hope that with them going the route that they are, that when they make EqG a proper series, we'll get to finally explore more of the humane6 and see just how different and or similar they are to their pony counterparts
