It's about time for my yearly post, so here goes.
Most of you don't care or don't know who I am, which is fine. Feel free to call me a tripfag until hell freezes over.
But, if I'm being honest, I have not watched the show since around S6? The last thing I remember is Starlight Shimmer joined the Main 6 (I think).
Regardless, I haven't watched the show, nor have I posted/lurked on /mlp/. So, I have a potential opportunity (if anyone really cares).
The linked image is the most recent version of the "newfag guide", which has surprisingly been in use (albeit rarely) since 2013. I was inspired to make it due to a overwhelming number of posts asking how the board worked and etc. I maintained the guide through the years (the most recent edit being in 2016), and have asked for changes, additions, removals, and the like to keep up with the state of the board.
But, since I'm no longer browsing nor watching the show, if anyone wants to maintain the guide, they can feel free to request so here. Otherwise, this will more than likely be the last post I make (for a long time, anyways. The ride never ends.)

If this was a guide to getting into the show I'd commend you but making a guide for /mlp/ specifically just confuses me.
Maybe I'm taking experience for granted or maybe I just use this place too casually but FFS it's such a niche experience that I can't comprehend the appeal in this. Anyone who WANTS to come to /mlp/ will know what they're getting into and pick up on gaps quickly. If you need an etiquette chart you're in the wrong fucking place.
But hey, some of these notes seem pretty autistic to me themselves so maybe it's just the standardization mentality that's rubbing me the wrong way.
