Pretty much. You can port in any model you want from Miku Miku Dance, or from Source engine if you're willing to go through a few more steps. Someone already ported the EQG models that the 3d thread made a while back, so there's that. I'm honestly surprised that the SFM anthro models haven't been ported. Inb4 shit taste. I'm just pointing out how odd it is that nobody's had both hands on their keyboard long enough to port them.

Eh, I wouldn't go that far. Or at least, saying it like that is kind of disingenuous. You can customize literally every part. You can:
-import models (pretty much any human/anthro model)
-create custom animations
-create custom ai
-create custom objects (so you in theory could have a map of ponyville)
-experience it with vr stuff

As for no heart, it's being made by one madman over on macrochan, so you can't really accuse it of that. The only annoying part if patreon fags are hiding converted models behind paywalls (which is scummy because the game itself is free).


I'm still excited to see what HGRobo makes though, if only because it sounds fun and he's one of the few oldfags we have left.

I haven't looked into it a lot but sizebox seems neat. It's very much a different direction from my design but it seems like it'll make a lot if people happy. Especially with all of the customization. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten suggestions to make less of a game and more simulation you can just watch. Plus y'know, you can actually play this. Mine is in development limbo and exists more as a promise than anything.

Personally though, I don't think I could live with the janky/slidy animations and generic cardboard buildings. It kind of takes the fun out of it for me.
