Seriously, have you watched any other cartoons? I get tired of hearing this shit from people in this fandom, watch other cartoons, this show is fucking tame by comparison to basically all of them.

Fighting, death, sad themes. If anything FiM could afford to be LESS conservative about it's approach. Change that 'destroyed' into a 'killed' and have the characters take actual visible damage from the hits (scratches and scuffs at least) then we can start fucking talking.

Seriously, stop acting like FiM is that 'mature', none of the characters have died on screen yet, we're not even close to how dark a children's series can potentially get.
