Did "Studio B" stop animating the show?
Also, I thought season 1 was distributed so that 1/3 episodes was animated by Studio B, and 2/3 of the episodes were animated by Top Draw. They were in control even back then. But later, they changed work distribution so Top Draw got some support role and Canada did the top of every episode????
I don't know, these are just rumors from season 1 and something later so dunno

It's probably more that they don't care anymore. They used to put extra effort into everything and try superhard because they liked the show so much, but now they don't like it anymore so they are just doing their job

Studio B was bought by DHX Vancouver. I believe Flashy's word still holds true today, i.e. every third episode by production order is animated at DHX and the rest are outsourced to Top Draw.

Correction: Studio B turned into DHX Vancouver after DHX bought them. That actually took place in 2009, but they didn't change their name until after the show started production. Kind of like how Chrysler bought out AMC in 1987 but the Chrysler influence didn't really start to penetrate the Jeep line until 1992.

They made that happen by hiding the whole story, and let everyone's imagination run wild. The story of "Flurry of Emotions" was that Twilight had three hours to complete a toy commercial for a princess doll, and also she had some minor errands to run, I guess. Not the anon complaining about the animation, and I'm skeptical that "Flurry of Emotions" IS above average trusting how the show is these days, but when your show is broken down and busted on a bunch of different levels, it only helps so much to be proud of some of the parts. Animation is the whole animation.
