Just to clarify - the fandoms "dead to me". Everything who was even half interesting has moved on here in the UK. All what's left is the autism, and I put up with it as long as I could.
There's nothing really worthwhile to strive for anymore here. People are too lazy to run meets, or to run cons properly (I used to, it killed me).

The US fandom does seem to be going as usual, which is nice.
