A: May 25.

A: Backers on $40 tiers and above. Upgrading tiers isn't available at this time (and unlikely to be in the future)

A: Steam. Valid Steam account + online connection required. Windows PC Only. Mac/Linux beta happening post windows release.

Q: Beta what?
A: Training Mode, Local /Online Multiplayer, and Lobbies will be available.

Q: Minimum requirements?
A: Pretty open! Beta will help us find out how elastic they are before giving hard reqs for release. Here's some (conservative) baselines.

Dual-core CPU (2 GHz or greater speed)
DirectX 9C capable graphics card* (DirectX 10 capable card recommended**)
Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 ***
2 GB available space
Broadband Internet connection
2 GB RAM (3 GB recommended)


*lowest tested card: Intel Core i3 550 Integrated graphics chipset
**If your computer is less than 7 years old, it probably has a DirectX 10 ready card)
***Windows XP/Vista may work, but we have not tested on these platforms. We will be testing for compatability thoughout beta.

Q: How long will beta last?
A: Undefined. Until we've achieved a stable enough release.

Q: NDA?
A: Yes. Partially.

Q: Meaning?
A: During the first few days of beta (or more, or less, depending) players will be subject to an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement), which means you're not allowed to share screenshots or videos, stream gameplay, etcetera. You're required to agree to the NDA in order to participate in the Backers' Beta. Accounts breaching the NDA will forfeit access to Backers' Beta. Once the NDA period ends, (we'll let you know when), these restrictions will be lifted.

Q: Keys where?
A: If you qualify for Backers' Beta, you'll get a steam-redeemable key when it starts via e-mail from backerkit system.

But if it's any consolation, Sonicfox has been a QA tester for a while so the curve to get to the top is already fucked.

If they wanted a dedicated fan base, they should have opened an option to throw money at them outside of their short lived and poorly marketed Kickstarter. Depends what you consider a shit game Diablo. For example, if you think games like Skullgirls are shit then I don't know why would you even back this game on the first place.

I know there are nuances and mechanical changes that try to alleviate the setplay heavy nature that the Lab Zero's product is infamous for, but at its base the way you perform basic combos works the same. The way you perform specials/supers is similar and the flair (read: cool shit happening on the screen) of the game feels pretty similar.

Since sanicfox is known for placing consistently high in SG's tournaments (even tho he makes the most money out of NRS games) is reasonable to assume he'll be good on this game as well.

I've seen some footage. It's less like they were revamped, more like they were developed. A few things have changed, though it seems everyone is mostly pretty similar to their old counterparts. Oleander's book is a big change though. Not sure how that will work.

Arizona and Paprika seem to be pretty close to where her pony counterparts were too. Just Velvet got a huge deal of changes from Rarity as far as I can judge, Rarity was less of a zoner and more of a midrange trap happy pressure beast in the leak, really.

And well Pom and Rainbow are essentially new characters alltogether with how unfinished their pony versions were (that we've last seen them that is)
