Is it actually a realistic possibility for this to happen or is it just a meme?
>>30058022
Someone posted a thing about how "Princess Starlight" wasn't copyrighted but "Princess X" (X = some other name that hasbro originally wanted to use) was
So yeah, a real possibility
>>30058171
any link/source to this?
Memiest of all memes. Everyone knows it's never gonna happen but people will still pretend it might
>>30058022
There was the princess Aurora thing.
And how the show pulls retarded stuff on finales I wouldnt be surprised
>>30058022
Meme, but anything is possible, I suppose. Stranger things have happened.
>>30058022
I thought it was a meme until realized S1-4 were essentially Twilight's "arc" and that S5 & 6 follow a very similar pattern with Starlight. If the similarities continue yeah; she should get wings by the end of this season.
That said if the similarities continue they'd have started foreshadowing Grogar in Season 8, not 7. So maybe it'll throw me another one of those pone-patented curveballs. These past few weeks on /mlp/ have already put two in my head. One is that she's time-displaced mind-wiped de-winged Flurry Heart.
>>30058176
I don't have it, some anon might though
>>30058022
It looks pretty natural on her.
Almost like she was designed like this from the beginning but had her wings erased for character development.
>>30058232
it's an edited vector of Twilight
>>30058232
dumbass
>>30058243
Rude.
>>30058232
You need to stop.
>>30058176
>>30058232Funnily enough the second curveball /mlp/ put in my head entails the exact opposite.
>>30058022
I want to it is a just meme, that dhx would have to be completely retarded to do it, but >>30058289 is honestly really hard to refute
>>30058289
>Princess of Socialism
>Princess of Equality
Princess of Diversity.
It'd be the most poetic achievement, given her villain stint. Plus her Suicide Squad consisted of a Changeling, a Draconequus & a gimp. Two walking lucky dips & the exception that proves the rule.
>>30058341
Not really seeing what'd be wrong with it desu
other than "it's been done before, so it's repetitive".
>>30058374
It's just really stupid, it would destroy Starlight as a character. It made sense when Twilight did it because she's the main character, but every they do magic shit with Glimmer it's always the wost. She works best when just hanging out with other characters
>>30058409
>it would destroy Starlight as a character
Wouldn't go that far but I can agree there are far better options to fit her arc specifically.
>>30058409
>Starlight
>character
There's nothing to destroy as is.
>>30058433
that was too predictable
>>30058445
Well, because it's true.
>>30058433
I don't even consider myself a hardcore Glimfag and she evidently has quite a bit.
IMO the problem might be that she's not as archetypal. They don't go balls deep into a cartoon gimmick with her. The subtlety makes it more nuanced but less vibrant.
...I guess like the pone equivalent of that restaurant episode.
