Would it have been for the better if the show would have ended

I appreciate that it's still going on. It hasn't always been easy and there have been some really awful episodes, but at the end of the day pony is the most important part of my life and I don't know what I'd do if it ended.

FiM's overarching plots have never been compelling enough to warrant sacrificing potential good SoL.

Yes, making Twilight into an alicorn princess was a show-ender.

S3 would have been a shit end because it would have ended the series on a rushed so-so episode (though it still had high-points like being the first all musical episode and first Celestia song) at the end of a so-so half-length season. Also echoing S5 is best season, but even more than that, I'm having a blast with S7 so far.

I have pretty good faith in Lewis and Songco as story editors. Solid track record of episodes and the two premiere ones were pretty good.
