Yeah, I stopped really caring about the show but still feel a connection to this board. And like a lot of people I know still really care about it, I've been to pony events and met people there and all, I played the card game a lot and am looking forward to the new set, all that. I'm no "poser", I enjoy the pony hype in a different way than someone who actually watches the show, because to me the "side attractions" have become more important than actually keeping up to date with the episodes.

I started out watching the show, stuck for the community, eventually lost interest in the show but the "fandom" remained. And I do feel the need to put it in quotation marks because you don't seem to want to accept that a website like /mlp/ is about as fandom as it gets. And I don't know, the mods seem to be doing a good job in that they don't do much period. Which is honestly how I like my 4chan moderation. From as good as I can judge, breaking the rules gets you a swift ban and that's about it. I don't think generals are a problem, and I don't think "antibronies" are a problem any more than people who make a fuss about them are. To be honest I don't have any problems with the /mlp/ culture at all. It's kind of like /b/ with ponies and I don't think anyone but it's regulars are to blame for that. But that's my cup of tea.

I'll be honest, I stopped watching the show when Starlight Glimmer was redeemed. I truly liked her as a villian, but that redemption was poorly executed. After a couple of episodes, I completely dropped it.

As for the EG movies, I stopped after RR. I simply did not care about the rest of the movies
