Twiggles used to be my favorite, but now she's just preachy cunt kinda, so I've been waifuless/favoriteponyless since about halfway into season 5... when there's no pony who you just "get" you can't really force anything. Of course you could analyze which pony is best written in a technical manner, but that's not really what a favorite should be IMO.
