Season 6 and 7 didn't bring anyone. The movie won't either.

/mlp/ isn't getting anything new from anywhere because the populace is a bunch of dejected autistics who can't understand development of characters and instead want status quo episodes.

Luckily there's like 200 people here that post AH HATE DAT GLIMMAH despite her being responsible for the only development in the past 3 seasons because the writers realised that they were stuck in a corner with the actual characters they were given.

The movie won't change anything. It'll be an hour and half episode of the series that's focused on selling more toys and Meghan will act as if she saved the series when season 8 hits and we get another pile of shit like season 4 where it'll be simplified characters and celebrity guest episodes that are WAY too old for the actual 'intended' fanbase to know or enjoy.

It's overstayed it's welcome at this point. 7 seasons is way too much for a limited scope series that runs for half a year at a time.
