>What happened?
Well, the realistic thing that'd happen if I popped into Equestria (and if going by the first song stating how my life will be) is simple: I'd be sad as fuck, but continue either searching for a way home, or embrace the new land and travel. You see, whether we feel like it or not, I believe we all technically have a path in life, even when it doesn't seem so. One person might wanna become a lawyer, studying his whole life in law and whatnot. Then, one day, his future's taken from him. Gone, like a snap of a finger as he's taken to a foreign land filled with horses and magic. What do you do after that? Where do you go? What happens next?

Well, I believe that depends on the individual, but this is technically about me, so..... I, for one, would most likely travel Equestria, maybe stopping into a town where my waifu is at some special event. I mean, why settle at one home when ultimately you'll never BE home? Instead, you might as well keep going further, learning all you can before you die in this alien world that took a life away from you. But seeing as my life is lack friggin' Samurai Jack's now, I guess that makes me unable to age.

I'm pretty sure the songs that define my waifu's perception also seem to embody these things. "When I was a Boy" after all is about Jeff Lynne, and how he just wanted to live his life his way, doing what he loved: making music. Twilight could see that I've basically built my whole life up to what it is now, training for a singular purpose and skill. She'd probably feel sympathetic.

These songs actually fit. I guess that this life is somewhat dream-like, with me sometimes getting lost in this new reality, maybe even being disruptive of it with my alien presence and vice versa. Like Equestria is a fever dream for me and I am a fever dream to other ponies. It's not an easy existence, but I have her, right?

But this disconnection would be felt by her as well. Being together is such a bliss but she's a busy pony and I can't be with her constantly. And once we're apart we start to doubt if it was even real in the first place. The furter apart we are, the more unreal it seems for both of us. But at the same time we are constantly reminded of each other by subtle things, finally remembering it anew and longing to be with each other again. It's the cycle of rediscovering each other by hints and distant memories is what brings us closer.

Doesn't seem that bad to be honest, I like bittersweet stuff like that.
