The show never gave me much to go off of, but common depictions show her as either a hyperactive version of ponk. Personally I see her as a more chill version of Ponk. either way, what made me fall for her the most is her drive for entertaining ponies.

because A. waifuing the mane 6 is hard, there's too much competition and B. Ponk is a tad childish for my tastes. I see Surprise as a tamer, more mature version of Pinkie. Only time will tell whether or not the show will shed more light on her or not.

Im a very lonely person, i issolate myself a lot, im not shy nor do i have social anxiety and i can have a conversation just fine.

I bounce between Twilight, Celestia and Luna so much that i cant really call any of them my waifu, i like them all for different reasons, although given her recent episode it seems like Twilight probaly picked up a lot of mannerisms from Celestia, so it's down to the age old battle between the sun and moon.

On the one hand, you have Celestia, lady of sunlight, protector of ponies and all around good natured immortal ruler that leads with a firm but kind hoof, but is prone to overly planning situations and events which often leads to them going awry.
On the other, you have Luna, lady of night, defender of dreams and all around good natured immortal ruler who safeguards the sanctuary of our subconscious but is prone to letting her emotions get the best of her, due in part to not allowing herself the same emotional care she does her subjects.
Both nice ponies, but in different ways.
I think my emotions have settled on Luna over Celestia, but i wont know unless my feelings flip again.
Sometimes i wish i werent so autistic and could simply revel in my feelings without analysing them.

There is no single reason, I loved her the minute I saw her in episode two and that feeling has only grown since then.

She's the liveliest and brightest of ponies, she encourages the growth of others into being all that they can be. The confirmation that she was the bearer of Laughter and Kindness only makes her even more perfect. The comics gave her flaws that make her even better. I don't love her because she's some sun goddess and paragon of good, I love her because despite that, she's made mistakes. She's the sun, I guess, she's warmth and life, but she can sometimes burn, too.

It was a gradual and subtle process so I can't point at one or two points, but it's probably because I see in her a lot of things I really want to see in myself. I can't help but to feel happy every time I see her and I always felt that way even without realizing it at first.
I can't see any other pony like I see her. I feel so emotionally attached to her. She's not necessarily better than anyone else, I don't even think about it this way, but she is on a completely different level than others for me.

Seems like you linger more on the character traits instead of focusing more on what you yourself feel. It's good for picking what characters you like but ultimately having a waifu is not about choosing something rationaly. You'll know when your heart finally settles but it's alright if it doesn't for some time.

Why? Well, it's easier to say how. I hardly thought about her until Pinkie Apple Pie had me really notice how cute and endearingly lively she is, and I gained interest and noticed lots of things I overlooked and it all grew on me through the rest of year. Somepony to Watch Over Me playing a big role in that, adoring the first act so much and feeling seriously uncomfortable when she was in danger near the end. It was such a steady progress, only finally recognizing her as my waifu in October, but by then I was totally in love. Season 5 amplified it by putting more emphasis on her sweet and understanding nature, and exploring very relateable flaws.

She's the prettiest pony in my eyes, her colors and style are so pleasing and warm me in a way none other can.

Well, some could ask me why I love her as if I need extra justification because of obvious reasons. But I don't. She's the one I love, so I chose to be true to that and overcome anything that would seem to get in the way. The thought of someone loving a character as wonderful as her or her friends but refusing to accept it because "but it's wrong" is depressing. That's not how love should be.

I'm normally an very logical person who thinks through things slowly, carefully, and above all rationally. I experience emotions as anyone else does and I show them all the same, but I almost never let them affect my decision making processes.

That being said, the reason I fell in love with my waifu is because I fell in love with her. I'm not perfect and neither is she and it just ended up working out in ways that I can't explain with logic or reason.

There are a lot of reasons why I stay in love with her, but as for why I first fell for her, well, it just is what it is. Normally that wouldn't be enough for me, but for her, and only for her, I'll make an exception.

I don't know. She was my favorite since the very first episode. She is so amazing to me, but I've never been able to specifically figure out why. A single sight of her happy is enough to brighten the blackest day. I just wish I could let her know how hopelessly in love with her I am.

It's less that i'm afraid and more that i simply dont know.
So i do what always works otherwise, break the problem into smaller chunks and reassemble the results.
I like her colors, those particular shades of blue are something i could literally just stare at for hours on end and be completely content.
I like her shape, not as marshmellow as the rest of the ponies but not as overwhelming in size like Celestia.
I like her personality, not afraid to let her hair down if the situation allows, but takes her duty extremely seriously to the point of fault.
I'm interested in her past, being thrown 1000 years into the future must have been quite the experience, how much has changed from her life back then, what has stayed the same, things like that.

Except when i lay it out like this my brain helpfully supplies the fact those reasons can also be applied to other ponies to some degree, and i cant accurately judge my feelings well enough to say for sure which is stronger.

I like Celestia's colors, her white coat and mulitcoloured mane with eyes of magenta are again something i could just lose myself in.
I like Celestia's shape, while large compared to other ponies it convey's a sense of safety rather than complete dominance, there is nothing on this earth that could hurt you while celestia is hugging you.
I like Celestia's personality for the same reasons as Luna's while recognising where they differ, Celestia's tendency to plan everything verses Luna's more off the cuff approach.
I'm interested in Celestia's past, ruling alone for 1000 years had to have taken it's toll, what were the highlights, how is it different now that the diarchy is re-established, that sort of thing.

Loving both is impractical, selfish and highly egotistical, let alone what they would think of such an arrangement.

That's not an unusual line of thoughts, however it seems to be circular in its nature, so you need to remove yourself from that circle entirely.

What you're describing is fine if you would be just choosing a favourite character because these kind of traits really are interesting and fun to think about. But ultimately you can't rationalize love, and even in this thread people can't really explain what draws them to their waifus. Things like color and shape don't matter much in the end. It's not these traits that invoke the sense of bittersweet longing, the gaping hole in the heart that can only be filled by her. I'm not saying it's impossible to comprehend and that these things don't factor at all, but maybe it's exactly what you need - a different perspective altogether, outside of the circular logic. You seem to feel deeply about both of them so maybe just a slight push would make things clear.

Think it over but not in the way of what do you see in them, but what they mean to you. Think back to your first impressions and memories of them, what changed? Evaluate it not on the merits of character qualities, but what they mean to you personally. You said that

You can also try talking it out with them, one on one or with both at the same time. Imagine a situation when you tell of your problems to them. How would they react? What would they say? It may seem silly, but this removal of ego from one side of the conversation may just give you a chance to see it differently, to understand yourself more. cI can't guarantee anything but this helped me more than one time so I'm just sharing experience, I hope this helps.

At the end of the day, it's not wrong to love both of them. If they both give you comfort then it's only for the best.

It's hard to tell. I didn't even like her at first, but she started growing on me and in season 3 I finally realized that I was actually in love with her. I probably could have realized it much sooner, but then I knew nothing about waifus, and the idea of being in love with a cartoon character seemed insane to me. OK, maybe it's insane, but at least I don't care anymore, she makes me happy, I wouldn't change her for the world.

Looking back, I think that what made me like her were moments like Sonic Rainboom, where I saw that she has fears too, but she doesn't let them stop her when it matters. Or maybe even MMDW, when I saw that she really needed the other ponies' approval, maybe because she lived hard times when she was a filly and the bullies laughed at her. I admire her, because with all her "emotional baggage", she never indulged in self-pity, she never stopped chasing her dreams. And I love her because when she had to make her hardest decision and choose between those dreams or doing what she though that was right, she chose the right thing to do.

I love her so much.

Honestly I wouldn't call Celestia my waifu but I admit I had a crush on her and did referred to her as such before. Her colour scheme is very appealing, her gentle, mature voice works wonders and she could inspire me to do things by just talking to me.

She's the only semblance of peace in this world. Even the Internet, chans, stories, or melancholy wading gives me the feeling of being home as she does. I'm a manic man and Futters is the only thing that can clam me at times.

As for other ponies, they didn't draw me in by first sight, Fluttershy did. I wouldn't say she's better than any other pony, but that she means more to me. I fought for this waifu, man. Nowadays, I'll fight for anyone's waifu. For Fluttershy, a little harder. You have to respect these waifus.
