I can appreciate the post-S2 design in the way that it actually portrays Luna as an entity of the night, and more on par with Celestia

But I do find her S1 design, especially her mane style, very pleasing and adorable. I could go for either, in all honesty.

It's objectively shit when you compare it to all the other designs which everyone else, even outside the fandom, have come up with.

I hate S2 design because it tries and it fails horrendously to portray Luna as regal, eloquent goddess just like Celestia or any queen or princess for that matter.

Her S2 design is a disproportionate weird-looking thing(neck as thick as the body, skinny calf) midget-looking shape, with an attempt at cosmic flowing hair, similar to Celestia's, that ends up looking like a pair of amoebas due to the two outlines that look like a membrane.

Her blue coat color is a muddy dark without being that royal black which NMM had. It's like trying to turn Celestia's white into soft grey.
Her eye design is also much less feminine and regal. I'd go as far saying she looks like a dykebull transexual from her disproportionate midget shape and her masculine eyes and neck.

If I started dumping all the alternative designs for Luna, I'd be busy all week.
