You mean aim for the eyes, or use the trees as shields against the alien? As far as I THINK I know, the blaster does burning damage and would severely damage the trees. Because.....wood. If the blasters base damage is 50, a weakness to fire would make that 100. And as for the eyes any attack aimed there would probably be doubled or have some kind of status effect.

Fun fact, at the turn where people gave up on trying to get Crystal inside the meteor the rolls would have allowed Dusty to grapple the meteor as well as Gem being able to stun it. Crystal could have made it inside after that turn with no problem, but the thread decided to change tactics right then.

The book is the only one that's likely to have any information that's useful to us at the moment. Can Crystal see if there's anything odd about the chip? I know technology isn't her forte, but she stands the best chance out of the lot of us. As for seeking help. The likelyhood of finding somebody that can translate alien languages or use alien technology easily is astronomical. The best we'd be able to get is some reinforcements to keep the alien from doing anything. That's if it doesn't do anything while we leave it unattended or with fewer outnumbering it.

No I mean when we first discovered the invulnerability I suggested we not make potentially lethal attacks against ponies in case it ran out mid swing. Bath said not to worry about the possibility. If the planet is engaging some ancient defense mechanism it will not turn off until all the fighting is over.
