I thought the new episodes were good. They were not as good as season 1, obviously, but there is so much sentimental value to me from becoming a brony back in early 2011 that nothing could ever compare. So I don't expect it to compare.

I thought Starlight was beginning to develop a bit of her own identity, but she needs more work. I'd prefer it if Starlight was only the main character like once every 6 episodes, and the mane 6 were still around. To see them go makes me want to tear up.

The whole initial 6 were charming in a way (except Rarara but that's just me, most faggots like her). The new main cast they are forming doesn't really have much for them to appeal to me.

I signed in for a show of horses on magical adventures but with another cast. The new cast doesn't offer anything I very much like.
Without the original charm, they lost me.
I don't completely hate Glimmer but I don't like her that much to stand the new show.
