"I dunno." Says the kid simply.
"Theeen what's your talent?" You ask, not wanting the talk to end just yet.
"I am not sure." He says just as disinterestedly as before.
"And how did you get it."
"I fell down a staircase." He says with the bored nonchalance of the uncaringly honest. "I think that was it."
"Wait, really?" You look him all over, worried that he might be wounded somehow, "Did you get hurt?"
"I chipped a hoof." He raises it to show you a diminutive crack that you wouldn't have notice otherwise.
"Do you want to have an adventure?" You ask him when he doesn't add anything else.

"Well then, we'll go for some booze to get started." You walk proudly to the closest store, followed by him.
He walks onto a glass door with a quiet thump.

The store owner gives you a pair of bottles of booze, already knowing you, and waves you goodbye when you head for a nearby park to drink it in peace.
He tries to take the cork off, and before you can extend your hand to do it for him it slips off his hoof and falls on a butterfly, crushing it.
