It made fun of Twilight's rare moments when she'd get angry, snap/freak out for a few seconds and get evil and sadistic like in Bird in a Hoof or Feeling Pinkie Keen.

Instead of fixing the problem, they decide to make an entire episode as some sort of sick joke. They don't take it seriously, it's meant for laughs. But for some retarded reason the end moral is to take her seriously, shit doesn't make sense.

It's contradicting and hypocritical of the creators of this episode.

Don't forget Swarm of the Century where she suggests building another Ponyville. Those moments are pretty funny and I guess the writers thought the joke could sustain an episode. They did alright, it's not my favorite episode but six seasons later it's far from the worst.
