Once the guards were all riled up, Twilight would mobilize her throne and head to the library, where, seated on her throne, she would spend hours reading lesbian erotica while fapping like crazy. But there was still so much for the princess to do: she had to have more audiences, manage the castle fees and properties (also on her throne), and eventually go out to meet her subjects (she was a friendly princess, after all). Usually, "meeting" just meant sniffing and licking the mares' plots. She loved it best when the subjects made nervous noises and trembled at her touch. By the time the meetings were concluded, it was supper time - more veggies in ponuts - then bedtime. Twilight slept on a bed of mares' plots.

Personal experience in observing homosexual behavior in horses, both stallions and mares, who all try to flirt and mount the same sex. Mares will sometimes mount other mares when they're in heat, because the roiling pool of hormones that horses have drive them fucking crazy, hornier than a five-headed unicorn. It goes the other way too. Actually, the problem is not a few southern soccer moms getting pissed off at gays, but the fact that it's illegal to depict homosexuality in kid shows in China and Russia. If they thrown in gay horses the whole show would have to be pulled from those markets. That's why other shows like Adventure Time only vaguely hints at a past lesbian relationship and Gravity Falls just had Mabel wear a rainbow sweater in an episode about love because that was the closest they could get to gayness. Good, but by no means great.
Both were above average episodes, and I like the change in style from the usual two-parters. Nice to finally see Celestia in a role, and I think they handled her surprisingly well. Felt very much in line with what little we saw of her in S1.
A few nitpicky details here and there that brought it down (strange medals as opposed to stained glass windows, ponies possessed by Starlight's anger scene dragged on too long, didn't like the mane6's Escape Room sequence, I know they're "hip" at the moment but like the medals Escape Rooms don't really feel at home in MLP).

What's really bothering me though is the lack of mane6. It's been how many years now since the mane6 actually did something important, together, as a team? Last season focused on Starlight and her reformation. Before that it was Starlight again. Before that it was all about Twilight and her ascension. And Cadance, too, I guess. Even here when they ARE given an escape room to solve together it's done as a quick aside from the actual plot of the episode, with no gravitas, lesson or impact on anything.
When will we finally get another Return of Harmony? I think the closest we've gotten since then was Starlight's first appearance and Our Town episode.

Sorry for being so damned slow about it, but I got the pencil lines (mostly) done for the humanized princest thing I'm working on. I still need to detail Luna's hair the rest of the way and get the rest of the designs on their clothing before I ink it.
