I've been suddenly struck but how transient every aspect of the fandom is. I've been well aware of earlier elements disappearing for some time, but the reality of it has only just hit me. The number of videos and songs on my PC that are no longer on the internet at large frightens and alarms me. In times like these, I feel like Youtube channels such as Deleted Pony Songs are doing god's work, but it doesn't feel like enough.
