You can interpret car as carriage, bullet as sling bullet, and Cheese Sandwich's real world location referencing as part of his and Pinkie's fourth wall-breaking abilities. The only one I've got nothing for is Tank. But, then, when they have electric flashlights and hydroelectric dams, you've got to at some point either start rolling with the occasional out-of-place element, or just declare the world building fucked.
