As for the ask-blog, maybe do one with a handful (4-5) of the background ponies. Try to set up your own, unique version of Equestria with pone's responses.

Or you could do something totally off-the-wall meta and have an 'ask the zomponies' style of thing where you mimic the responses that dead ask-blogs gave but drawing the main characters of the blogs as zombies.

Well Satan,

Those ask blogs are really all about whatever's clever going on in your head. (Also your art style, output rate, theme, and tone).

The "ask" part of the blog is really just there to provide you something to bounce off of. If you don't ACTUALLY have enough ideas to make your own... comic? novel? gallery? You can petition the crowds and maybe they'll give you enough material or enough hooks for material that your own creative juices start flowing.

As for what the ask-blog is about? Almost inconsequential. But stay away from OC's. Seriously. That's fucking lame as shit other than that glorious beast of a stallion Donut Steele.

Mhmm, yeah the BG pony thing sounds like a nice idea and like something I have thought about. Since theres a bunch of BG ponies people seem to really like but never got as much attention as early season BG ponies like Lyra, etc.

The Zombiething sounds cool, but, that would even delve further into above said problem. One or multiple of the originall creators might jump back to live and ask me to stop doing that, and honestly, Im not the kind of guy to not do that then.

well, pic related is some linework I did recently, and what I am confident about putting out there.

I figure I would like to do something with a little more... consistency, then just random ideas popping into my head, and think this may be the way to go about.

But I also would enjoy actually having people sending asks and such and enjoying what I create, so yeah, i rather would not make it about some OC nobody cares about.

Hope I am not vastly overestimating my drawfaggotlevel here though. I do hope to improve more by doing this too though

I'm in the same boat as >>29765806 but probably less... abrasive. It's no skin off your back in the artist throws a bitch fit or even just politely asks you to stop. You can do a one panel farewell to the character and drop it.

I like the lineart quite a bit, honestly, especially the headshapes. They could really benefit from some basic coloring imo. I think even solid fills would do the job
