I for one can remember an episode where Scootaloo was having a nightmare. She was about to go down a hill on her scooter, but halfway down, the scooter transformed into an egg beater and she landed in a river of cake batter. I couldn't tell you the name of that episode, but I can remember that because it was a rare moment of humour.

Joined in the summer of 2013 right after the good stuff happened like Faust here, the scruffening and the alicorn shitstorm, but before EQG. I could've joined in 2012 since there was an autist on an anime forum I used to visit that continuously posted shit about mlp like pinkamena and the luna games. At the time I didn't know what the fuck he was posting and even got mad because the shit he posed didn't have anything to do with the topic on hand.
I just want it to end and be free but with the 8th season already confirmed I don't see any way out

I've been on the ride since the very beginning.

I remember how excited we were when we thought that the show was going to be Sailor Moon with colorful horses, wielding amazing powers and fighting dark villains from beyond the edges of the Moon.

The comfy slice of life we got instead was nice too, of course, but in a different way. I guess that's why I've always written, and enjoyed, adventure fics the most.

Spring 2013, I was still in high school at the time. I spent my entire Spring break watching the first three seasons; was going through them at like nine episodes a day.

I started watching in summer 2011, several months before S2 came out. By that time, I believe I had already bought a few t shirts from Redbubble.

I didn't start posting on /mlp/ until the most recent 4cc. I'd avoided it because I thought everyone here was a degenerate. And I was right, but there's also good discussion and otherwise better culture here than the rest of the fandom. I like it here.

To be fair, MMMystery on the Friendship Express is a fairly forgettable and inconsequential episode that has Pinkie pulling a bitch move at the end by eating the entire combined dessert before anyone else gets to try it. The only thing with more filler than the titular cake was the episode itself.

I joined in April 2012 right when A Canterlot Wedding aired, "Love is in Bloom" was the first song I ever listened to and I fell in love with how warm and fuzzy the show made me feel.

I went back and watched a couple of Random episodes to check I wasn't losing my mind. Watched Griffon the brush off and I was sold.

That was when I went to episode one to watch them I order.

Sep 2011, I marathoned season 1 only to find out season 2 was airing in a few more days.

Hopped on the Thursday before Lesson Zero aired. I remember because I had just finished catching up on the Pokemon anime and needed a break from that hell. Powered through S1 just in time to catch Twilight's breakdown.
