They can't design a good game in general. Most fan games I've seen are either just bad reskins of other games or are just extremely shitty. Only one that I can remember actually being good is Story of the Blank Flanks, which was actually pretty decent, but way too short imho. Ambient.White seemed decent, but it's literally just a mediocre hack and slash platformer game.
