I can't wait to embarrass everyone at the movie with my pony shirt and fedora.
BUT
I'm honestly worried the dubbing is gonna suck as much as the show.
I know Italy is not the worst case. They improved a lot since season 1. Yet, i still can't stand it. I watch it just to see how badly the messed up, voices and translation.
Anybody else here, among those filthy american dogs?

Fucking pasta niggers

That pony is cute.
I would totally give her some flatbread.
In Finland, the dub will also be shit, no doubt. They probably translate the names literally, making them sound really weird.
Not going to watch it in a theater though.

>They improved a lot since season 1
Season 6 songs were absolute garbage. I remember liking some of the old ones as much as the original versions, like Winter wrap up and This day aria, but there's no comparison with what we have now.
>I watch it just to see how badly the messed up
I usually binge watch the dubbed version when it's finished airing, as an excuse to watch more pones. Voices are not so bad, translation is dreadful as usual.
>I can't wait to embarrass everyone at the movie
I think I'll wait some time and then go mid-week to a multiplex near my town, very late if possible to avoid people because fuck them.
>inb4 everyone has the same idea and I find myself in the middle of an autism party.

Italyfag here
you're right man, italian dubbing sucks (actually, every mlp's dubbing is bad: I speak german and spanish and both are shit)
For the movie, fuck the spaghettis, I'm not going to watch it in a theater fulfilled of stupid kids and worried parents. Internet exist for this reason

No they don't, it's english names with horrible pronounciation. The voice acting is alright, albeit very hit and miss, some characters sound fucking awful. I happened to catch a few S6 episodes one morning, and was really surprised how well Fluttershy was voiced.

You're telling me those lyrics are actually good?

mfw italian intro song was even more bad than the original intro, for most of us italians to hear.
But americans loved it so much they also did remixes of it.

Which ones? I was talking about some songs from the early seasons, not the opening. I never really liked it.

So exotic, lyrics must be better than original. Pizza and pasta ahaha!
Meanwhile, i can't even bore myself properly in the afternoon as they keep airing the same bucking 4 episodes in random order.
Literally aired part 2 randomly, no part one in months.
I feel bad for the small little pasta girls actually trying to watch the show without internet.

What a great melody. Makes you belive in a better tomorrow for the show.

We shall only watch shows with the original audio ( subtitled if we don't know what they say), because translation always gets raid of just so much voice inflections, contextual puns and even sound effects that may be key for some jokes.
That being said: I simply love that horse.
>>29582089
You don't know how awful the french version is this why i always watch the english version
>>29582640
The problem is:
They're not going to show the english movie inside an italian cinema.
I still want to experience it on the big screen after watching the original version on my small monitor.
What to do, kill myself? Is that an option? Normalfags will never know how good the show sounds in english. How can i possibly live with myself?
>>29582915
Don't give up your dreams.
Go watch it in italian after you saw it with the original voices.

>I still want to experience it on the big screen after watching the original version on my small monitor.
I just had an idea. It's absolutely stupid, but it might work. Save the audio from the English rip to your phone. Go to the cinema. When the movie starts, use headphones to hear the English audio while you watch the thing on the big screen. Ta da!
Syncing is probably difficult, but you have like 8 months to practice it.

I thought I was the only one worrying about this. I'm from austria, and the German dub is not even half as bad as some other dubs, but horrible enough. I just wish that they would only show us the English dub, and the movie never gets a different dub.

That's the kind of positive yet unpractical thinking i want to see, keep it up Anon.
