No they don't, it's english names with horrible pronounciation. The voice acting is alright, albeit very hit and miss, some characters sound fucking awful. I happened to catch a few S6 episodes one morning, and was really surprised how well Fluttershy was voiced.

I just had an idea. It's absolutely stupid, but it might work. Save the audio from the English rip to your phone. Go to the cinema. When the movie starts, use headphones to hear the English audio while you watch the thing on the big screen. Ta da!
Syncing is probably difficult, but you have like 8 months to practice it.

I thought I was the only one worrying about this. I'm from austria, and the German dub is not even half as bad as some other dubs, but horrible enough. I just wish that they would only show us the English dub, and the movie never gets a different dub.
