It is time for edges2pone. Because everything must be ponified. What images should be used to train it?

As for a "line2pone", good luck.
But you will need as much anons as possible to fill your database.

I really hate this stuff. It gives me the creeps. Whenever I look at an image made like this I feel a sense of revulsion, fear, and disgust I can only compare to looking at an eldritch abomination of some fiction. It is an image produced by a being that knows little about its subject matter and as a result comes out with an output that is almost correct, but with a few very minor and very important differences that make it so incredibly terrifying and repulsive. It unnerves me in a deep way, like I'm looking at something that was never meant to be. The worst part is when you give it inputs it was never trained for. It returns some incomprehensible mess that makes no sense but is still vaguely recognisable. It's like looking at the results of a teleportation accident. God help us.

We're teaching it how to draw ponies not dogshit.
Has science gone too far?

See? SEE? This shit, man... I hate how much it terrifies me and I can't fucking explain it, it's horrible... This was never meant to exist, we were never meant to see this

The paw hooves are pretty cute. Try Gilda.
Wow, it's Glimmer!

OK, give me a second.

That's how I feel about glitches in games.
Someones lip shouldn't stretch 50 feet.
>>29557716
I dunno, game glitches like that are different. They were never intentional. This was. Glitches are a technical error, this feels like a deliberate machination of some computerised demon here to torment us.
>>29557708
Well. There was an attempt.

How did you manage to give this program a picture?
Did you use a program to control your mouse based on a file?

Meow.
>>29557692For what is worth, I perfectly understand your point, as I feel the same. There is nothing at all that unsettles me as much as "patterns" of this kind. I'd say it's comparable to tripophobia, although I don't consider myself tripophobic.
I feel the same kind of repulsion from Deep Dream images.

Just like the pony OC generators.excellent
I'm thinking there should likely be different categories of images used to train it:
Show art (vectored)
Show scene (let's draw ponyville from a scribble)
Popular artist (no background)
As much of derpibooru that can be reasonably processedUh, I wonder what this kind of tech means for copyright law and the future of art commissions?
It looks like anything with a double outline, like those vectors, just completely confuse it. Stick with single outlines to keep it looking like deformed kittens instead of vomit.
>>29556466
Ill look into it next week, looking at the source I can most likely set it up and run it, but training is a problem, since ill need lots of pics nicely categorized into >>29558019, and my internet is shit. Also, if I do this (and im not promising anything), I wont make a website, just do some requests on here.
But it depends on how much training it needs to work. Im not going to leave my PC on for a week for this.
