>Getting back in the ring, you congratulate Derpy on such a great move, before you both go to a grapple stance. Luckily you take your time and are able to get behind her, picking her up and slamming her to the mat as you mount her from behind. You quickly begin working on her forehoof, locking it into a hold, but she is able to get her way to the ropes to break your hold.

>Course the two of you get into another grapple, and you go for a quick suplex, which she then drops behind you and backdrops you on your front half as you grunt. She has you in a bridge of which you kick out before the three.

>The two of you trade back and forth moves until you actually end up whipping her into the corner, which you think of what you can do from here. Turnbuckle grapple? Throw her off and high risk dive? Charge into her? You could also pull her out of there and go for your Crossface finisher.

Usually, Promos are meant to hype up future events/matches in the company. They also to be used to further a storyline by insulting the opponent that you're set up with while putting yourself over, but you don't want to outright bury the opposing talent because if you lose it makes you look like the worst. Other times promos are used to change someone from a good guy to a bad guy or vice-versa.

Good example of a Solo Promo. You really can't go wrong with The Rock. Other talents that you can't go wrong with, promo-wise would be Steve Austin during his 3:16 Phase, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.
