Most character-centric generals do exactly the same thing. Drop by any main six, CMC, or Princess thread sometime and you'll see for yourself. EQG threads are largely about characters because that's where the series puts its focus, so naturally they'll exhibit the same inherent flaws. It doesn't justify banning them, and if you were really as intent on improving the board as you claim to be, you'd be making better threads yourself instead of whining whenever someone enjoys things without your permission. This board's among the slower ones on 4chan, so I can guarantee that if the threads you like are dying, an oversaturation of EQG is not the cause.
