I stopped playing about a year ago at MR i think 20 because there was literally nothing left to do for me. Got all weapons, frames, primes, most of the mods. And the loadout still was the same 8 mods on all weapons and frames with the occasional variation of 1 or 2.

How's it been since then? I mean I'm sure they added more weapons and frames, but has there been any significant change to the formula?

Riven mods, which are diablo-style mods with up to 4 randomly generated positive or negative properties.

They're weapon-specific, and there's some semblance of balance between them, popular weapons that people often use have a lower chance of spawning riven mods and the mods that spawn are weaker, while low-popularity (and therefore low-power) weapons have more and better riven mods.

I've got one for Attica that's pretty insane, +280% base damage and +100% fire rate (x2, because it counts as a bow) and turns the weapon from a meh annoying-to-use autocrossbow to an excellent wannabe-assault rifle.
Also one for Sobek with around +100% fire rate, +100% cold damage, and +50% damage to infested. I'm trying to reroll this one into something better.
One for Viper with a total of +400% damage in various types, and +100% recoil. It's not really that great as the base Viper is absolute shit, but it's fun to use, and it motivates me to farm for the Syndicate Viper mod that increases magazine size.
Also I got lucky and got one for Marelok, +150% damage in various elemental types and -20% magazine size. As you can tell, nowhere near as powerful as the other Riven mods, but Vaykor Marelok is already one of the top-tier secondary weapons and this pushes it a bit higher still.
