Let me give you a short history lesson.

It is the great hiatus of 2013. Many an anon is still reeeing from alicorn twilight sparkle becoming a reality. Leaked concept art from the year before was proven to be right despite official sources stating otherwise. An exodus of the fandom was taking place; the biggest drop since the show began.

Now there were many opinions on why ATS was the worst thing that happened to the show. Some counted for personal taste. Others sheer autism. But the most prevalent reason was subconscious; a grim fact many anons to this day will refuse to admit.

The show lost its magic.

Fans all around the globe now recieve news of a movie coming out in June. Anons here leaked the details before the end of season three, but many didn't want to believe it. But now they had to for it was reality.

The movie was not about magical talking ponies. It was set in a mirror human world which also took place in a highschool. A motherfucking highschool.

Whatever magic the show still had for anons was lost forever. They were no longer watching a quirky pony show with good writing and refreshing characters. They were watching a tv show made for little girls to buy toys.Of course this was always the case, but Equestria Girls robbed them of whatever denial they had left.

It was all just to make money. Nothing special.

We had gone 3 seasons of hoping that it would continue to be different than every other show as it was originally designed, but then they just sucked the fun out with that hack-job spin-off what just spat on everything that helped make the show good and interesting and brought it down to commercialized drivel.

And with that, the new EQGfags who rolled in just shat on it further.
