Anyone notice Pinkie Pie's decline in usage in Season 6? It's because they're gonna give her her own spin-off show!
>Most popular character with little girls (childlike personality/generic pink and blue colours)
>Hasbro's stocks are rising
>We're in the money, we're in the money!
You know this autist is gonna become the main character of her own series.
uhum

She'd be the logical choice for something educational, targeted at pre-schoolers.
But Hasbro never did an educational thing in their corporate existence. They're in the business of selling plastic crap. If getting pre-schoolers addicted to heroin would boost their stock price they'd do it in a heartbeat.

Good riddance

>Decline in usage
Thank fucking lord
>The Pinkie Pie show
Am I the only one that would watch this?
>>29425425
It's been airing on Nickelodeon for 18 years.

>my waifu getting her own show
Do not even fucking joke about this Anon. I may not be as perfect as her, but I don't deserve to have my feelings toyed with like this.
>>29424687
I feel sorry for the children who will have to suffer this obnoxious character.
I mean, if she's portrayed as lol so random most of the time in the show, I wouldn't expect better writing for this.
>>29424687
that would basically be spongebob but with ponies
>>29424687
There there, Pinkiefags. At least she's not Rarity.
>>29426745
So like the actual show, then.
>>29424701
The show was educational at the beginning, fucking idiot.
>>29426841
The first season had the E/I ("Educational and Informative") TV rating. This was probably Faust's influence. Hasbro dumped this after the first season, though.
>>29426811
In the sense that it's a kids show, in the sense that has comedy elements, or in the sense that both have declined in quality since becoming cash cows?
>>29427837
Pretty much all those.
They differ in that there are still occasional good episodes of MLP, while Spongebob has more or less completely gone to shit.
>>29428156
As an SB fan I beg to differ with the last part, but one constant thing across both shows is that they really hit the shitter around S6.
>>29428190
>S3 is not the worst
>>29428207
I definitely agree with that assessment. Still the worst season and S6, while bad, isn't anywhere near as bad as S3.
>>29426841
No it fucking wasn't. It had the end of the episode moral but that's it. Not educational at all unless you consider EVERY kids show that has an end of episode moral to also be "educational". You're the idiot here.
>>29430097
We're all idiots here, Anon.
>>29430097
But that's literally part of the definition of what a show has to do to get the E/I rating that MLP literally had in its first season. It's supposed to convey some kind of educational message, not just be pure entertainment.
A show has to pass legal muster under the Children's Television Act and be reviewed by the FCC to get the rating.
>>29428190
Both Spongebob and MLP became shit after S3. It's a fact.
