desu the new show creators and designers have been slowly fazing out Faust from the show, the episodes are a little less memorable each time and the general feel seems stale and bland. I still maintain Season 1 was the best.

Honestly, I understand how Faustfags feel after watching about half of S6 and heavily disappointed.
I understand the change of tone after half of S2, and for some fans they are unbearable. So I've came to a conclusion that people who accepts show after S2~S5 but don't accept about half of S5 and S6 should be reffered as Meghanfags.
And I'm damn proud to be Meghanfag so far.

To me most of s4-s6 feels the damn same. It was after all written and directed by Mike Vogel. None of these overly mentally retarded idiots who feel butthurt for something they weren't responsble for in the first place, like Jim Miller. You'd have to be a real fucked up in the head canuck to take somebody else's flaws and defend them as if they were your flaws. You have to be a real idiot, because a real smart douchebag takes all the positive credit as his own and blames all the problems on somebody else. Just comes to show how retarded the vancouver canadians at this company.

I'd love. I'd really love to say that the show changed tonality through each episode of season 2, but I can't. It would make me a hypocrite. In reality the show did change in tonality per season, not episode or half season. S3 was very similar to S2, but with more action and an actual plot going on in it(Twilycorn) unfortunately just like Lesson Zero, it ended up being big mess. But hey at least it wasn't as boring as S2.
S4 is similar to S3, but even more actiony and plot-driven. (Actually introducing Daring Do as a real living character not a fictional self insert by Dash like in S2). Despite again missing the point, this should have been a character-driven show primarily. S4.S5, S6 all feel the same minus the weird season arcs like the cutie map and starlight glimmer.

But sadly they're all shit. It's like comparing different seasons of Adventure Time and Steven Universe and grading them on how bad they are despite being made by the same exact creator. While FIM had a different animation studio and different executive managing and script writing everything.

I have the same problems with S2-S6 as I do with Steven Universe. Horrible, horrible everything, not just the writing... the art style, the dialogue, the voice acting, the ideas, the jokes, I simply hate Mike Vogel, I hate everything about his style of directing and writing a show, just like I hate Rebecca Sugar.
