I have 2 close friends that wouldn't be alive today if I wasn't for pony. Also DWK. He said he would have killed himself if not for Rarity, his waifu.
I feel like this show has done a lot of good in immeasurable ways. I'm sure it's saved many lives and helped many people improve on their lives. I credit the show & /mlp/ to my improving social skills.

For me, it's also made me repsect women more. My father had really bad relationships with women due to his terrible mom and his negative outlook on women rubbed off in me but this show and my waifu have taught me to respect women and be more optimistic.

Aside from the actual show, the fanfics and greens that this fandom writes are surprisingly good and feel genuine. One even helped me through a particularly hard break-up

I'd be dead. Without mlp I wouldn't have found 4chan. Without 4chan my interest in writing would never have been rekindled. Without that I never would have found the career I love and would never have stuck out college. I also never would have met my qt bf. This show did a lot of good for me.

I might have killed myself, honestly.

I was in a pretty shitty place for about 2 years, without the community.

Moved to a place to take care of my parents, hated it, ended up losing everything in the matter of a year after I lost my job.

Thought the show, I made inner peace with allot of things, I started doing things for myself rather than always doing it for other people.

I'm finally happy, sure not everything is great all the time, but I'm not as unstable as I was.

Ponies helped me get through a horrible depression. Honestly, without them I probably would have killed myself.

Nobody would've guessed how popular xenophilia and bestiality could possibly be
