In all fairness, right one probably took two to three times as long to get done which if there's deadlines to worry about is a big issue over a whole issue.
That said, it's also better in literally every single way; sense of perspective, of movement, depth, expressions, even the slight slant in the panels makes it more interesting to look at.

OP should realize the whole point of Fosgitt is a cheap, barely viable product that will ideally help reduce sales just enough to allow him to drop the series for lack of interest without looking legally like he's broken contract with Hasbro, thereby losing all the boy's toys comics he really has a hardon for.

That Pencils managed to do that just means that they wouldn't let him near an actual issue with a ten-foot pole, as it would potentially put the artwork well above the "mediocre". Worse, people might actually like the comics and buy so many as to reverse the gradual slow drop to Curnow's desired death-by-neglect for the series.

That's kind of how it is with this stuff. Comics are a small community once you look inside the industry, so nepotism plays a greater role sometimes than merit.

Oh, this shit is still going? There seems to be quite a lot of bullshit floating in this toilet bowl of a thread so let me clear it up quickly before I filter this boring old song off.

Bobby didn't call my art shit, he said I have promise and good attitude for comics. He said he'll get me a cover or two, which is nice, maybe he'll let me draw a comic at some point too when he has a story floating about for someone to draw other than the people on payroll at this time.

There's no "let's kill pony" conspiracy theory going on, Bobby wants all the products under his wing succeed and he actually seems to be into pony himself from what I've gathered from my talks with him. Fosgitt is a hard working artist and juggles many projects so I think some of his more rushed content still gets a green light for the sake of his name being somewhat a selling point to some of the audiences.

I am not having a self-esteem crisis, I am having a flu and that's been keeping me busy feeling like I snorted a mountain of glue and then drove a fence post in to ground with my face. You can't have a self-esteem crisis when you have none to begin with.

I agree with Curnow's point on my layout and my action work, it needs improvement, This is partly because before my comic series, I hadn't drawn pony or minimalist cartoony stuff before. It's a whole different beast to draw cartoony action than more realistic scenes. I am working on that now with even keener eye. I would need to be at least tenfold as good as any artist they have on their payroll to get an opportunity as a "newcomer" so it is just like any other comic book company out there. So in the meantime I work on my art.
