I think she was great in The Cutie Map, and she was utterly ruined when Haber made her OP as fuck in the s5 finale. The reformation was unavoidable, the real harm was making her more powerful than any other pony. That was completely stupid.

Glimmer was always shit.

Glimmer was at her best when she was a villain. It all went downhill after she got reformed.

Technically yes since her character got much, much worse in the finale with Sunburst backstory.
In truth though I like her interactions with Spike and Trixie more than her role as a villain, more entertaining I think.

im not a fan of glimmer, its like shes supposed to be the new twilight.

Nu-glim's gotten better since the crystalling, but she was a better villain.

And her reformation is stupid. Sure, seeing that your actions lead directly to the end of the world would be enough to make anyone stop being a villain, but there wasn't enough motivation for her heel-face turn.
