The only time that I legitimately cringed while watching the show was that Spike anthem song at the Equestria Games.

Even to this day, I can't watch it without muting the audio half way through.

My only issue with the show is when they clearly ignore continuity that impacts the world building significantly.

Not "everyone" hates FiW, I liked it, but it's one of those things where the consensus here is "it's bad". I think it's unfair.
