This is painful to sit and read, there wasn't anything particularly interesting about Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna in the first place and this book does nothing to help that.

As I try and mention with the book releases. I doubt these get anywhere near the support the comics get, so if you like them and want more like them then getting the books physically yourself wouldn't hurt.

The next chapter book we should be getting will be the long delayed Trixie book which is scheduled to come out March 7th as of right now:

It feels like they went "Hey, Journal of the Two Sisters was fairly popular, right? Now let's do it for this other setting!"

Except that JotTS had an author that cared, actually laid out some interesting lore, and looked at a bit of the setting that people had been crying for information on practically since day one. All this did was highlight how trite the EqG setting is and how poorly it links up with the actual FIM setting. It was an addition no one asked for and no one cared about - apparently including Hasbro themselves.

It's basicaly just Luna and Celestia preparing the first Friendship Games and solving the mystery of the stolen wondetbolt statue.

Rate it 6/10 .Would read it again. I liked the personalities of young Luna and Celestia.
