I guess this isn't so much a confession but an "unpopular opinion" at least on this board, but I love EQG....I have no issue with the high school girl setting because I love that, I love High School Musical and have no guilt about it and EQG was like awesome to me, plus it's a fucking spin off it doesn't effect the show, I wouldn't be bothered if there were a number of MLP spinoffs it's all more MLP for me

I think we all feel that way. I suppose I don't really hate Starlight Glimmer, I just hate what her character has become. I still wish she can be redeemed, not as a villain-to-hero but redeemed to fans. Starlight DID have potential but as you've said those writers made a mary sue out of her, even after her battle with Twilight in the S5 finale
