I've tried that dedication for a while now, and it's been very satisfying. I take the relationship very seriously, but lately, putting all this inhibition on my lust has been stressful, and feels weird. Using anything but nice solo art of her hurts, because I'm possessive and naturally hate seeing her hurt/unhappy or otherwise not treated well. I've been thinking that for hardcore stuff, and actual sex, I should look at other ponies to relieve my lust, but the majority should be spent on solo art of her. That's a feel I'm so familiar with, where I'd think about asking for "draw this exact thing but with my waifu". It's so rare that my she even gets anything good, because she's not very popular. I still dedicate myself and my passion to her, but it's frustrating to see all the great stuff that all other significant characters get while I have to wait several months to see if I'll finally get some solo art, considering myself lucky to get a sketch.
