The commander, a Hauptmann by the name of Namenlos, made contact with one of the members of the royal family of this country, Princess Twilight Sparkle. The Princess invited the Hauptmann and his men to go with them to one of the major cities, the Crystal Empire, for a summit of sorts. Namenlos identified himself as being from a Panzergrenadier regiment, the 112th, and told my local contact that he and his men had been involved in fighting at Kiev just prior to their arrival here.

To head off the inevitable butthurt, here's some history: The 112th Panzergrenadier regiment was formed in 1944, and saw no action at either battle of Kiev. (1941 and 1943) The 112th Infantry Division was present at the first battle of Kiev though. The 112th Panzergrenadier never had a Tiger tank, and the Tiger wasn't in service during the first battle of Kiev.
