Fosgitt yet again hasn't disappointed. Story is shit and the whole "monster feeds on hate and love defeats it" shtick is too much inspired by the Windigoes. And have I read it correctly that the plants are Star Swirl's invention?
Other than that it's just bland. The interactions are worn out, I don't care for another "remember you used to be evil?" dialogue. Twilight brings nothing to the table, everyone is being dumb so the plot can work and the action is unsatisfying.
Overall a macro fetish fuel/10.

Berrow have a tendency to tell really boring stories with more developed characters where they usually meet with some generic OC's or bg's. Discord had a fallout with fucking noteworthy as his rival ffs.

Somehow i don't see Glimmer being that much connected to Discord to actually reach him, it will all look like a forced way in making her a hero. Just like the show did with Spike in Power Ponies and Equestria Games.

I honestly just think that last year's annual was better as a holiday issue.
I think it was last year. The one with Katie as the artist.
Anyways, I can't think of much for the issue. Like it's a FF but somewhat average. Not too exciting but at least had some lore to go. 6/10.
Also, the only saving grace of the art is Spike being almost always drawn on model, as well as the coloring.

Among other things, they protect The Illustrious Q from any kind of critic there, so imagine how busy they are whenever somebody uploads part of a bad comic and the bad comments start piling up.

Not that I don't care about the other stuff, and it does hurt to see it done so bad, but I still love seeing the cute ponies doing cute things. It's less often, but stuff like the Rarity and Maud FF and Comic #34 keep me happy through the tracts of awful comics we've been getting. Books are doing awesome if nothing else.
