it really helped fill them out and know what they WOULD do in any given situation and keep them in character

though I have had fun coming up with that shit on the fly (experienced players only should try this) and write it down for future reference

I had joined very late in a campaign and I also had to come up with a whole history of how my character got to level 10
that shit was several pages long, in addition to answering the questionnaire

Thats the thing, guy making it came up with a storytelling way to remove characters from play and return them into play at whim.
Basically, there is a curse going around. Because of that curse, any pony, at any moment may turn into a tiny figurine, a blindbag pone, if you will, and stay that way for undetermined amount of time. Thats main plot point of 'the curse of the statuettes'. If player cant make it to the session, his character gets turned into a figurine and pocketed by other character until player gets back into play.

I went with Nurgle because A, Nightmare represented an slow and steady decay for Equestria rather than constant and random shifting, and B, because she just wanted attention and Papa Nurgle gives his love to everyone.

How I see it:

> Discord: Tzeentch; change for the sake of change. No real ongoing plan, sometimes even works against his own goals.

Doesn't look like the Elements of Harmony have any hard effect on your stats. There's probably a rule like "Gain a Friendship Token when you act in alignment with your Element," not unlike D&D 5e's Inspiration system that rewards you for acting in alignment with your character background.

They're just roleplay aides. To use them for an evil character, just have your character align with the opposite of the element and use the Discorded Mane 6 from the s2 opening as a reference.

If i remember right, Cavatore said that the dices for the stats are rolled to obtain a result to beat a certain value, ritght? Like if you need to open a door, you roll the body dice and you have to obtain a result equalor higher than the GM say.

According to the head writer of the game, it was designed to be played without even a grid or miniatures. It's built to be a collaborative storytelling game, really. You could do roll20 if you really wanted to, but there aren't going to be any official rules for gridding, movement or tile-based combat. I'd stick to Skype or Discord.

Teamspeak could be cool, too, if you have access to a server. That has more tools for managing other peoples' voices if you're playing with randos and want some semblance of moderation in your group.
