I think the alicorn/princess hype is over. That title is useless and usually undermined in negative light on the show. Twilight became irrelevant after becoming one and they focused on Glimmer instead. Becoming an alicorn is now a death sentence to any character. That old 90's way of thinking that every little girl want to be a princess is some shitty obsolete idea. MLP would have been more admirable if Twilight started as a princess and became a normal pony and a researcher/scientist. It would show that normal passions are better than royal titles that don't mean shit other than making you look better than others. Its still others me why Hasbro is still pushing this shit.
