Starlight Glimmer.

I love everything about her. Her good qualities (brains, magical prowess, dedication to improving), her bad qualities (lack of common sense, readiness to use magic to solve problems), and everything else about her (mild sarcasm, voice, expressions, design).

Every moment I look at her my chest feels warmer, and a small smile breaks out on my face.

I do not want to abuse her in any way. I only want to love and cherish her.

I fully expect to get tons of hate for my taste in waifu. So be it. It won't change how I feel about her.

Thank you! Everyone on /mlp/ seems to hate her but she's one of my favorite characters ever. She constantly puts up with Twilight's egg head bullshit because she truly wants to be a better person.
She's grown a lot as a character and has proven she can be trusted.
Plus she's adorable, especially with the 6th season hair

I don't really hate any ponies, but Glimmer seemed a bit of a forced main character. She did a fuckton of evil, and her motive was just Sunburst leaving her. And even then, she's had great character development and a unique personality.

I see your reasoning for disliking SG. But like you said, her development is one of the reasons I like her so much. Though it could've went a little slower-paced.

Random thought but I expect, but don't want, Chrysalis to be reformed at some point. She's been the only real adversary and has almost successfully taken over Canterlot and the Crystal Empire

Best pony is probably Appul. Even though she's not my waifu, she seems to have one of the best developed characters and attitudes. Plus country.

I was never really a fan of AJ. But I was born and raised in a PA farmtown, so I just see her as a stereotype.

I understand disliking crackhead, she can definitely be annoying but as I saw her more, she really grew on me.

Rainbow Dash. I love her progression. At first she seemed to me the most superficial character in the show, but after discovering her fears in Sonic Rainboom, her supportiveness in Hurricane Fluttershy, her tenderness in Sleepless in Ponyville, her core values in Wonderbolts Academy, I realized she was much more than what I saw at first. All of that made me fell in love with her.

Starlight Glimmer. For the exact opposite reason, she started as an interesting character and the writers slowly turned her into some kind of unlikable schizophrenic psycho. There isn't anything in her I like anymore. I know that she won't, but I'd be happy if she stayed in Our Town during season 7 and we never had to see her again.

I know it's kinda unfair to hate Glimmer over her episodes in an awful season, specially since Dash's episodes were absolutely terrible (thanks, Josh Haber, please die). But then again, Dash had 5 seasons of progression before this shit, and an episode with her being a total bitch can't really change all her past for me, while Glimmer was a blank canvas, she's what we've seen this season and nothing else, and I don't like it at all.

Celestia. I love everything about her. Her character design looks great, her (very few) lines are great, and her voice actor does a great job with her voice. It might be because there's so little canon content related to her, but I can't think of a single thing about her I don't absolutely love.

Luna. She's so cringy it's terrible. I have yet to sit through an actual Luna episode, I just nope the fuck out halfway through everytime. She's an alright character and by far not the worst if it wasn't for her whole massive guilt complex about every fucking thing. The last episode that I watched with her in it was Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep and it was god awful. Maybe she's better now, but at that time she was literally
