It depends.

If you're judging an OC by its vector, show-style appearance, 90% suck. Aside from the usual gaudily-colored OCs and red-black OCs, I'm especially bothered by ones with offwhite coats (especially human skin tones) since they lack any creativity.

However, most of those OCs can be redeemed by a good artist. Hybrids, bats, etc. are generally beyond saving though (pic related).

But generally speaking, I don't think it matters at all what someones OC is like. As long as you're reserved enough with it and don't cram it down people's throats, which regretfully, the people with shit OCs tend to just love doing that.

I have at least 10 Oc's, i just don't have time to draw them anymore.

I love them dearly, and to be honest it hurts to see them get criticism simply because they are usually personifications of the few things i like about myself anymore.

They have become my crutch now, they force me to look at the things i am good at, or look at the comedic relief of the things i'm not.

I just can't be mean to people who make Oc's anymore, even if they are edgy or generic, it's just not in me to be hateful in general anymore.

I find one of my male's pretty horsebando worthy, and i certainly wouldn't pass the opportunity to buck him.
