How would you rate Friends Forever #34 out of 10 /mlp/?
Next month we should get Comic #49 continuing the three part Chaos Theory arc:
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #49
>Ted Anderson (w) • Andy Price (a & c)
>“Chaos Theory,” Part 2 (of 3). With Accord's powers affecting the ponies of Equestria, Twilight and company will have to resort to unorthodox measures to get Discord back to normal! Well, normal for Discord!
>>28928913
>Pinkie asking for Cheese to give her a creampie.
>>28928960
Next month we should also get Friends Forever #35 featuring Starlight and Twilight:
My Little Pony: Friends Forever #35
>Rob Anderson (w) • Jay Fosgitt (a) • Tony Fleecs (c)
>Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer tidy up the library in the Castle of the Two Sisters. What begins as a friendly activity soon turns into magic-based battle of egos and starts to transform the castle into a very dangerous place!
>>28928963
The Guardians of Harmony Comic Book should be out December 1st digitally with the print release two months later in February. There's an actual solicitation for that now:
My Little Pony Annual 2017—SPOTLIGHT
>Jeremy Whitley, Christina Rice, Tony Fleecs (w) • Andy Price & Tony Fleecs (a) • Andy Price (c)
>Join the Guardians of Harmony on their quest to protect Equestria from nefarious villains! Featuring six short stories focusing on action and adventure by your favorite MLP creative teams!
>>28928965
The next chapter book we should be getting will be the long delayed Trixie book which is scheduled to come out March 7th as of right now:
Trixie and the Razzle Dazzle Ruse
>G.M. Berrow (Author)
>"A new My Little Pony chapter book featuring your favorite unicorn pony and traveling magician, Trixie! An original story."
>>28928958
This one was actually really good. Surprising. Didn't expect it to be heartfelt and actually got a few laughs out of me. Will probably pick it up in print.
>>28928967
Lastly, the solicitations for February are out. So here are the other two apart from >>28928965:
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #51
>James Asmus (w) • Tony Fleecs (a & c)
>Twilight is startled to find that the most important history books in Equestria are going missing. Will she and her friends be able to uncover the identity of the mysterious new villain responsible?
>>28928965
>Whitely
>>28928971
My Little Pony: Friends Forever #37
>Jeremy Whitley (w) • Agnes Garbowska (a) • Tony Fleecs (c)
>Rarity is excited to work on Sapphire Shores’ next big concert! What should be a dream job could turn into a nightmare when Rarity discovers that she’ll need to work closely with a pony with a checkered past… Trixie!
>>28928965
So much hype for this. I hope it means more later, and more GoH stuff as a whole.
>>28928962
Given the episode they had, it's practically believable
>>28928955
Mmmm tasty shipping sauce
>>28928958
9/10. I like the idea of a never-edibg party house/monster. Such a whimsical monster fits perfectly in the world of Equestria! Even garbowska's mediocre art cant bring this one down.
9/10, very good. It had a nice quasi-horror movie feel without breaking the normal feel of the series.
cheese and pinkie had really good chemistry too.
>>28928892
Trixie????
>>28928918
>Twinkies expiration
>>28928944
Alright, the obvious solution is that Cheese and Ponk need to get married and have a family in that house.
>>28929073
>Trixie had a business that sold home protection wards.
>That turned the homes into sentient houses that kidnap ponies to do their bidding.
>>28928955
>>28928958
That was the weirdest issue I've ever read. Pretty creative actually. I expected at some point for one of the ponies to go nuts, but then again, them going nuts IS normal.
>>28928938
>>28928944
>>28928951
Got a bit deep there. Life and death, man.
I'll give it an 8/10. Nice kind of oneshot.
All memes aside, are the comics actually starting to improve a little?
>>28928955
> that last panel
C-Confirmed?
>>28929173
>comics
>canon
>>28928971
>Asmus
What the hell
Pony comics always looked like too second league for legtimate mainstream writers
>>28928906
>it's some kind of magic
Lol at mudponies being effectively uncapable of dealing with the simplest magical tasks
>>28928951
>A party that never ends
>>28929235
They're also literally riding a house
>>28928958
I read it so I could make fun of it but it was actually pretty solid all the way through.
>>28928955
> Doctor and Rose shipping.
Aaand the comic fucked up right before the end.
>>28929588
>standing next to each other
>OMG SHIP
This ain't a bench, love.
>>28928963
>Glimmer
>Fostgitt
>>28929173
Comics cant confirm ships but McCarthy might give S7 writers some ideas with shipping based on comics
>>28929588
>DerpyxDoctor fags
>>28928958
It made me feel as well as laugh. It's worth the buy, 8/10
>Jenn Blake is dying
>She dream to draw any comic about rarity
>Gonna to make a last work in the MLP comic before move with whitley to that leasbian comic
>she only get pic related
>isn't even rarity related
>0 effort Garbowska get the Rarity x Trixie comic >>28928973
Thanks a lot Whitley
>>28928918
>30 years old crystal pepsi.avi
>>28928951
I want to leave Ms. Pank's wild party
>>28928958
I'm actually not sure. It was kind of strange but also nice
>>28928963
>FF with Glimglam and Twiggles
Oh man, that sounds gr-
>Fosgitt
>>28928904
I can totally hear that in Weird Al's voice.
I still want to hear Weird Al say those lines, however.
>>28928958
8/10. The art was occasionally slightly off, but the idea and story were actually on the money here. It'd actually make a decent episode.
>>28929096
That's not Trixie. She'd be a doddering old geriatric considering the house's owners got so old they had to move to a nursing home. It might be Trixie's -father-, however.
IT'S THE FUN HOUSE
>already dead
So... everyone just read/download and move one?I do that, the comic aren't worthy enough anymore
>>28932507
Good comics don't have much to discuss, and since we rarely ever have any, that fact catches people off guard.
I think it's interesting that love and fun are literally magic in MLP. Which kind of explains how Pinkie does the things she does; since she's using magic. I wonder how they match up to conventional magic like Twilight's.
>>28928951
One pic representing the comic
Am I the only one who doesn't like all these processed foods in Equestria
I liked the idea that this was a place where you could just eat fresh bread from a windmill and stuff, not all this packaged crud like soda and boxed cereals and now "Kwinkles".
>>28933156
I'm more creeped out by the fact that it contained fat.
Where do you get fat from? From animals.
>>28928958
8/10 its cute
>>28933390
Or vegetables.
>>28933156
Same. I would have preferred it if all of Equestria was on the level of Ponyville and Canterlot
>>28928963
>comic has a decent premise.
>Fosgitt.
Just fuck my comics up.
>>28932507
It's a good comic?
Less than 150 posts
It's a bad comic?
220 posts
CONTROVERSIAL?
R:520/I:140
>>28932890
I want Futtershy to hug him and tell him that everything will be alright
>>28933390
You can get it from vegetables or butter
>>28934376
Glimmer deserve Fostgitt in every of her comics. She's as much a sjitty character as Fostfitt's art style.
>>28928963
>>28928973
Ugh
>>28928963
>Jay Fosgitt (a)
>(a)
JUST
where the fuck is hickey?
>>28935938
Fosgitt does art cheaply, and on schedule. That's why they keep hiring him.
Comic is actually good, wish more were reading it.
>>28928958
breddy cute
>>28939250
Probably doesn't have a lot less readers than the others, it's more that it is "just" an inoffensive cute comic with no huge revelations or controversial things so there is not much to say about it.
>>28928958
Meh, didn't care for the backstory interrupting the flow every few pages. Didn't like the abrupt start.
I consider it good idea ruined by a bad layout.
>>28939250
I dunno, I'm not exactly excited about Cheese and Pinkie. The comic wasn't dumb, the art was okay, but it wasn't something really fun for me either. It's nice.
>>28928958
That was just too weird, and this comic is aimed at kids. The story might just get too adult, so... No.
>>28928958
The feels are AMAZING! Really reminds you about the home you left behind when we all grow up. Its not just about the house, but about the people. One of the best.
But I think this song is very fitting.

>>28939250
Ohai, Q.
>>28940739
Suck his dick already
>>28939486
This, though for a party issue, this took a really different turn than what I expected.
Bump for an okay, not outstanding nor controversial comic
>>28939250
More people would if they didn't keep having shit issues ruining any hope of a good series, interspaced with decent to good ones like this.
The quality control simply isn't from Curnow and IDW.
Has a comic ever had a lot of activity for positive reasons?
Like 300+ posts, minimal bumps, and minimal shitposting?
>>28942317
the first ones might have
>>28928958
7/10.
I feel the resolution could have been more shown than just told, maybe the House becoming decorated for parties instead.
Ponks and Cheese were good and the house story got me a Little feely.
>>28942317
A very long time ago.
Closest I could remember was ShiningxBlueblood.
>>28932507
As a general rule, if an IDW comic thread has <150 replies after a few days, it means it was a good comic. If it has more, or is on multiple threads, it was incredibly shit.
>>28945365
How the good die young.
Also the only shit comic that reached less than 150 was the election comic part 2.
>>28941915
In other words, it's Friends Forever.
and I wouldn't want it any other way.
