I don't even know where people are getting that, anymore, with this season. Some easy-to-miss cute bits of animation don't justify all these mean, unpleasant conflict-driven plots. There's nothing cute about this show anymore, if you're actually watching it instead of ignoring the show and just looking at caps of your waifu that someone else took.

From what I've seen, people who say "cute ponies doing cute things" unironically never cared about anything else but screencaps. It's something that pisses the fuck out of me, because the show used to be much more than that for me, but the undeniable truth is, they still the show (or the screencaps) and I don't, so I have no choice but to admit that they were right and I was wrong, I should have never cared about anything else.

This realization doesn't make me hate any less the idiots who turned the show from something I loved to a shitty slideshow of meme faces, and are proud of it because "it's a show for little girls" and girls don't deserve more.
